1946 Chief ~ Black in Phoenix, IL

This is one cool 1946 Chief Bobber that was built in the early 1970's. The bike is a suicide clutch. It runs and shifts good but has been in storage for years. It is still 6 volt and does seem to charge. It has a Linkert M-344. All of the wiring is very old but seems to work OK. The Handlebars are 9 3/4" tall. The front tire is a [removed phone] and the headlight has a # KD 869. It also has a New Jersey inspection with a date of [removed phone]. The girder front end is very old chrome. The gas tank seems to be clean and good inside. Note the cool letters on the tank caps.
